Warning!

if your Blackberry says "Enter MEP 0 left" means its HARDLOCKED and can not be unlocked with any code, even correct one ! You must check your unlock counter before ordering any code.

 

Models: 9100 / 9300 /9360 / 9900 /9930 / 9800 / 9810/ 9850 / 9860 and other New Blackberry's


1) Insert an unaccepted SIM card – one that's not from the network your phone is locked to.
2) Select yes when prompted if you want to enter an MEP unlock code
3) Enter your Blackberry unlock code and confirm
You MAY not receive a “Code Accepted” messages or anything of the like, but your phone will stand at the homescreen.

OR in case if the phone is NOT asking for MEP code with not accepted sim card

1. Turn off all of the wireless connections (manage connections - turn all connections off)
1) Go to Options -> Device -> Advanced System Settings -> Sim Card
2) Press and Hold the ALT key and type the letters "mepe" (without the quotes, you will not see anything on the screen when typing) (If the ALT key is not showing on your keyboard hold down the 123 key it will switch to the numeric keyboard with the ALT locked down)
3) Once you see the Personalization Screen type "mep [alt] 2" (without the quotes, you will not see anything on the screen when typing).
You should be prompted for the code. If you're not prompted for the code, Press and Hold the ALT key and type MEP2
4) Enter the provided unlock code
it's recommend to do a Battery pull after unlocking your Blackberry

Models: Pearl 9105

1) Insert an unaccepted SIM card – one that's not from the network your phone is locked to.

3) Enter your TORCH unlock code and confirm
You MAY not receive a “Code Accepted” messages or anything of the like, but your phone will stand at the homescreen.

OR in case if the phone is NOT asking for MEP code with not accepted sim card

1. Turn off the Wireless Radio
2. Next go to Settings > Options > Advanced Options > SIM Card
3. Press: 63373
4. Press: 63372
5. You should see a dialogue where you can put in a 16 digit code and 10 tries to punch it in correctly.
6. After you enter in the code, press Enter.
7. It should say “Device Unlocked” and you have an unlocked Blackberry.

Method 1: Model: 9500, 9530 Storm, 9550 Storm 2, Verizon, Telus, Bell Canada Storm


Before you start, you MUST have an Unauthorized Sim Card inserted. Unauthorized Sim Card is a Sim Card that is NOT belong to the provider of the phone. Example: If you have a Verizon phone, you need to insert a T-Mobile Sim Card inside the phone before turn it on.

1. Power on the phone.
2. Phone will said "MEP check failed. Do you want to enter MEP unlock code". Select Yes.
3. "Enter Network MEP code (# left)". Enter the unlock code.
4. Press Enter, you should see “Code Accepted”
5. You need to check Network Connection is set on GSM/UMTS. Menu>Manage Connection>Mobile Network Options and make sure it GSM/UMTS.
6. Once GSM/UMTS is selected. You can now ready to make phone call.

NOTE!

If the network not working after your phone is fully charged and unlocking process “Code Accepted”. You must change from Verizon CDMA network to GSM Global Network a few times, after change from Verizon CDMA to GSM Global 3 times is completed, leaves it on GSM Global Network. Now it should work. (Verizon 8830 World Edition DOES NOT work in USA)

Method 2: Model: 8830, 9500, 9530 Storm, 9550 Storm 2, Telus, Bell Canada Storm

Before you start, you MUST have Sim Card inserted & turn OFF ALL wireless radios, turn the phone sideways so you get the full QWERTY keypad.

 

1. Press the Menu key
2. Scroll to and select Manage Connections. Select Turn All Connections Off.
3. Press the red end key or the Escape key to go back to the Home screen.
4. Scroll to and select the Options icon.
5. Scroll to and select Advanced Options.
6. Scroll to and select SIM Card.
7. Type MEPD Note: When typing in MEPD the letters will not appear on the screen, this step open up the personalization on the device.
8. Type MEP then hold ‘ALT” key and type number 2. Note: When typing in MEP ALT 2 the letters/number will not appear on the screen, this step open up the “Enter Network MEP” box.
9. Enter the unlock code.
10. Press Enter (Press the trackball for 8830), you should see “Code Accepted”
11. Press and hold power key to turn the handset off and then back on.
12. Once the device has powered on, follow steps 1 & 2 and restore connections.

NOTE!

If the network not working after your phone is fully charged and unlocking process “Code Accepted”. You must change from Verizon CDMA network to GSM Global Network a few times, after change from Verizon CDMA to GSM Global 3 times is completed, leaves it on GSM Global Network. Now it should work. Model: Curve 8300, 8310, 8320, 8520, 8800, 8820, 8520, 8900, Bold 9000, 9630 Tour, 9700 Bold

 

Before you start, you MUST have a Sim Card (could be Active or Inactive) & turn OFF ALL wireless radios

1. Press the Menu key
2. Scroll to and select Manage Connections. Select Turn All Connections Off.
3. Press the red end key or the Escape key to go back to the Home screen.
4. Scroll to and select the Options icon.
5. Scroll to and select Advanced Options.
6. Scroll to and select SIM Card.
7. Type MEPD Note: When typing in MEPD the letters will not appear on the screen. This step opens up the personalization on the device.
8. Type MEP then hold ‘ALT” key and type number 2. Note: When typing in MEP ALT 2 the letters/number will not appear on the screen, this step open up the “Enter Network MEP” box.
9. Enter the unlock code.
10. Press the trackball (“Code Accepted should display)
11. Press and hold the red End key to turn the handset off and then back on.
12. Once the device has powered on, follow steps 1 & 2 and restore connections.

Model : 8100, 8110, 8120, 8220 Pearl

 

1. Insert SIM into device
2. Power phone on and Turn off the radio (Turn Wireless Off option) VERY IMPORTANT.
3. Select "Options" THEN SELECT ADVANCED OPTIONS
4. Scroll down and select "SIM Card"
5. Type "MEPPD" (please note that you will not see what you type on the screen)
6. Type "MEPP then [ALT BUTTON] then 2" (please note that you will not see what you type on the screen)
7. Enter the Unlock Code
8. Press enter
9. Reboot device. Device is now unlocked.

Model: 8700, 8700c, 8700g, 8700r

Before you start, you MUST take out the Sim Card & turn OFF ALL wireless radios

1. Press the Menu key
2. Scroll to and select Manage Connections. Select Turn All Connections Off.
3. Press the red end key or the Escape key to go back to the Home screen.
4. Scroll to and select the Setting icon.
5. Scroll to Options
6. Scroll to and select Advanced Options.
7. Scroll to and select SIM Card.
8. Type MEPD Note: When typing in MEPD the letters will not appear on the screen. This step opens up the personalization on the device.
9. Type MEP then hold ‘ALT” key and type number 2. Note: When typing in MEP ALT 2 the letters/number will not appear on the screen, this step open up the “Enter Network MEP” box.
10. Enter the unlock code.
11. Press the Joydial to confirm (“Code Accepted should display)
12. Press and hold the red End key to turn the handheld off and then back on.
13. Once the device has powered on, follow steps 1 & 2 and restore connections.

Model: 6xxx 7xxx: ie 6230, 7100, 7290 etc. Unlock Code Instructions

 

1. Select Options menu on BB.
2. Select SIM CARD menu. To be able to see this you have to type this on the keypad on phone : (TEXT WILL NOT APPEAR ON THE SCREEN until you enter the unlock code)
3. Type 'MEPD' for all models, except 7100 in which case in case use 'MEPPD'.
4. Usually you should see "active" NET lock. In order to disable this lock, type 'MEP2' respectively ('MEPP2' if phone is 7100)
5. The BB will ask for a code. NOTE: You must use the "alt" or "shift" key to enable numbers so example would be: m-e-p-"alt key"-2 Now you should see the place to enter your net unlock code.(if not, you didn't type in mep2 or mepp2 properly.)
6. Here you must enter the "NET Unlock Code" that you have.
